Movements of Passage
Movements of Passage is an immersive dance film and live orchestral experience exploring the rituals that shape us, reimagined for a hyper-connected age.
Developed by mixtamotus under kNOwBOX dance, the film was created inside the raw architecture of the Cedars Union - Boedecker Building, where dancers move through concrete, shadow, and light as if navigating memory itself. The industrial landscape becomes a metaphor for transition—what we inherit, what we shed, what we become.
Rooted in Dallas yet expansive in emotional scale, Movements of Passage unfolds as a meditation on tenderness, endurance, and renewal—an embodied offering shaped by music, architecture, and breath.
