Alyssa Knapschaefer (she/her) is from Kingwood, Texas where she started competitive dance at five years old. She found her true passion away from competition dance in high school where she expanded her dance knowledge in Ballet, pointe, tap, and modern dance. She graduated from the University of North Texas in 2021 with a BA in Dance and a BS in Kinesiology where she performed in various concerts such as the Collaboration Dance Concert, the New Choreographer’s Concert, and the Faculty Dance Concert. While in school, Knapschaefer found interest in the individuality in one’s body's relationship to movement and how movement facilitates a creative and healthy life.
